Besides Cain, which other characters from in-game Reborn were downplayed from their real life counterparts? — Anonymous
Sigmund. Hard to do this in a game and much less with a silent protagonist but he would psychoanalyze his challengers in the middle of a match to get under their skin.
Shade. A little bit. He mostly did not speak, or spoke in riddles very rarely, but there’s some other things he did that don’t translate to a game, such as just coming onto the server at random times, leaving a smiley face and then disappearing, or randomly naming one of his Pokemon after a challenger, or coming on, saying someone’s name repeatedly and then never saying why (and yet, bad things seemed to happen to that person whenever he did that anyway…) Basically he was a lot more of a troll online than in the game.
Shelly in the sense that, if it were possible (and it is not) she would 100% have a pokemon named after the player. She names them after the other leaders she met instead but online most of her Pokemon eventually became named after various challengers who befriended her.
